Grove Lodge Vets is a busy hospital providing both first-opinion and referral services, with a wide range of specialist disciplines, including diagnostic imaging with on-site CT, orthopaedics, cardiology, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. We’re fully equipped with advanced facilities, including a dental suite, endoscopy, laparoscopy, ultrasound, digital X-ray, laser therapy, and an in-house laboratory, alongside separate dog and cat wards.
Our main hospital is based in Worthing on the South Coast, close to both the seafront and the South Downs, with excellent links to Gatwick and London. We’re supported by six nearby branch practices, with this role mainly based in Worthing and occasional cover across the group.
We’re proud of our friendly, supportive team culture where learning and development are genuinely encouraged. With 20 RVNs, certificate holders across multiple disciplines, and visiting specialists, we offer a great environment to build confidence, grow skills, and develop your career in a high-quality clinical setting.
The role offers a flexible working pattern of 4 x 10-hour days, with the option of including Saturday mornings on a 1:10 rota (7:30 am–12:30 pm). Where Saturdays are worked, time off during the week is provided, which is the preferred arrangement. Alternatively, a fixed schedule of 8 am – 7 pm with a dedicated weekday off can be accommodated. We are a host practice for Vets Now, who take over in the evenings, meaning there are no out-of-hours or bank holiday commitments.
