Join us at Moy Vets, where you’ll become part of a fantastic team working across two purpose-built sites in Norcross Lane (Thornton) and Hambleton, near the Fylde Coast in Lancashire.
Join A Supportive Team
We are a team dedicated to professional growth, with certificate holders and those working towards advanced qualifications within our 14 RVN / 5 ACA nursing team. You will also collaborate with a veterinary team of 10 and a support team of 15. We highly value the skills of our nursing team, offering established nurse clinics, support for further development, nurse-led dental staging, K-laser therapy, and we’re currently working on developing nurse-led Schedule 3 ops days for those who want to expand their skills.
Our team also provides our own out-of-hours service, allowing us to manage a range of emergency cases.
Work With Modern Facilities
Moy Vets is a well-established practice with a friendly, multicultural team. Our modern, fully-equipped facilities include digital radiography, a dental suite, multiple surgical theatres, Idexx laboratory equipment, ultrasound, endoscopy, K-laser, and various multi-parameter monitoring equipment.
A True Work-Life Balance
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The current schedule involves working a 4-day week from Monday to Friday, with a rotating day off. However, we can accommodate a preference for a set day off if preferred. There is also a 1 in 6 weekend rota, which includes on-call duties on both Saturday and Sunday. In addition, nurses are required to work one night on-call per week, Monday to Friday. However, we are in the process of recruiting night RVNs and establishing a dedicated night team, which will eventually eliminate the need for on-call shifts. A retainer and call-out fees are paid in addition to the base salary.
