We are looking for an experienced, proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our expanding team at our Grove Lodge, Worthing Hospital. We are a large busy hospital, which benefits from enabling our nurses to specialise in areas that they have a keen interest. We see a vast array of cases and refer very few, meaning you will be exposed to a wide variety of procedures and advanced nursing techniques with full support from our team. We believe in investing in our team at Grove Lodge, therefore further certifications are on offer and funded to those who have specific keen interests.
Fix or flex – work life balance that works for you
Working part time up to 21 hours per week covering Monday-Friday late shifts. Our clinics are open between 8am and 8pm weekdays and 8:30am to 5pm Saturdays shared on rotations with no OOHs.
About Us
We are a busy hospital, dealing with both 1st Opinions and Referrals. Our specialist services include diagnostic imaging with on-site CT, orthopaedics, cardiology, soft tissue, and internal medicine. We are well equipped with a dedicated Dental Suite, Endoscopic and Laparoscopic equipment as well as an on-site laboratory. We have a spacious staff training room and comfortable staff break room for that much-needed cup of tea!
Our main hospital is based in the vibrant seaside town of Worthing on the South Coast. We are in between the beautiful seafront and the stunning South Down with excellent transport links to Gatwick and London, which are less than half an hour away. We have 6 branches that feed into our main site which are all well-equipped and in close proximity to one another.
About the Team and Culture
We have a wonderful ethos at Grove Lodge, creating a safe and open culture for all our team. We have 17 Vets and 26 Nurses including SVN’s and further supported by VCA’s and an Administrative Support team. We have Certificate Holders with certificates in Medicine, Cardiology, Surgery, and Diagnostic Imaging as well as a visiting Diploma Holder, specialising in Cardiology. As a team of encouraging, supportive, and exceptionally knowledgeable individuals we pride ourselves in being able to offer the opportunity for further development to all who join us.
