About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced veterinary nurse to join our team. This role offers a varied schedule, averaging 40 hours per week, with rotating shifts: 8am-3pm, 8am-6pm, 12pm-8pm, and 11am-6pm. You’ll also be part of a 1-in-5 weekend rota (Saturdays 8am-2pm), with a day off following your working weekend.

Your responsibilities will include a mix of consultations, pharmacy duties, inpatient care, anaesthetic monitoring, stage 1 dentals, and imaging. With a dedicated clinical coach in place, no additional training is required, and thanks to our fantastic reception team, nurses spend minimal time on reception duties.

About Us

We are a thriving community general practice with excellent transport links to Wimbledon, Kingston upon Thames, and Central London, as well as easy access to the coast. Our well-equipped practice features advanced diagnostic tools, including multiparameter monitors, digital X-ray, and dental X-ray.

We are proud to hold an ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic Gold Award and actively promote feline-friendly care among our team. Continuous professional development is at the heart of our practice, and we encourage staff to share their knowledge through meetings and clinical clubs. Our ultimate goal is to provide gold-standard care for both clients and patients.

About the Team and Culture

Our team includes:
2 Clinical Directors
4 Veterinary Surgeons
6 Registered Veterinary Nurses
2 Student Veterinary Nurses

We take pride in fostering a welcoming and social workplace. Our annual open day is a highlight for both staff and the community, and we also enjoy a summer work BBQ and a Christmas party. Our social secretary ensures we step outside our comfort zones with fun activities like escape rooms and game nights—new ideas are always welcome!

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who can confidently perform all clinical duties to a high standard. A team player with strong leadership skills and a passion for patient and client care would be a great fit. We are open to applications from both RVNs and experienced second-year trainee nurses looking to join our friendly small animal nursing team.
