Our Rota

Your working week will comprise 24 hours on a rota basis, this will include Saturdays until 12:30pm. We would be open to further discussion regarding weekday hours.

Our established practice

Vine Tree opened its doors in the Wye Valley in 2015 in a newly refurbished building and joined IVC in 2017. You will find all the mod cons you would expect in a modern small animal practice (including digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory). We also provide treatment to an exotic wild animal centre where our nurses can assist the vet on their visits (porcupines to Mountain Lions).

Find a team that cares for you

Vine Tree is so much more than its equipment and the building we operate in. Firstly, and most importantly, we are a supportive team. Every practice thinks they have a great team (and no doubt they do) but our team is truly something special; comprised of 4 vets, 5 nursing staff, 3 client care assistants and our lovely practice manager (whose main job is keeping the cupboards well stocked with biscuits, homemade cake and fruit). Career development and progression is encouraged and we have funding available for further study. We have one vet who holds a Certificate in surgery, with another taking a certificate in dentistry and our head Nurse holds an advanced nursing certificate.
