The People Behind Walton Lodge

Walton Lodge Veterinary Group was co-founded in September 2000 by Helen Lee BVSc, MRCVS, and her partner Rodney Pugh. Since then, we have expanded to six surgeries across Bengeo, Bishop's Stortford, Harlow, Hoddesdon, Stevenage, and Ware. We have recently opened three brand-new practices in Stevenage and Hoddesdon, and our Ware practice has been fully refitted and extended, offering a modern, well-equipped working environment with excellent transport links.

We take pride in investing in cutting-edge technology, including digital radiography, high-speed colour Doppler ultrasound scanners, digital endoscopy, high-powered dental scalers and polishers, and advanced anaesthetic monitoring equipment. These facilities allow our team to provide the highest standards of veterinary care across all locations.

You will be joining a highly skilled and dedicated team, including 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, and 11 Receptionists. Our team works collaboratively, supporting each other to ensure the best outcomes for our patients and clients. Helen Lee, our senior Veterinary Surgeon, qualified from Bristol University in 1984 and has been serving the Hertfordshire community since 1985. Her wealth of experience, along with the expertise of our wider team, ensures a fantastic learning environment for all staff.
