We're thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new Out-of-Hours (OOH) service at Moy Vets, and we're looking for 3 passionate Veterinary Nurses to join our dedicated team as we embark on this exciting venture.
If you're eager to develop or enhance your experience in an emergency care setting, this is the perfect role for you. We’re looking for driven individuals ready to contribute to a new and dynamic service, with the opportunity to start immediately.
In recognition of your expertise and commitment, we offer an excellent salary starting from £19.23/hr, based on your experience level. For candidates with strong OOH/ECC experience or relevant further qualifications (such as an ECC Certificate), we are happy to negotiate the salary to reflect your expertise.
Help to establish a new team
As a sole-charge nurse in this role, you will be responsible for covering emergency cases from admit through to discharge. Your responsibilities will also include providing exceptional care to hospitalised inpatients, managing anaesthesia, assisting in surgical procedures, and monitoring patients throughout the night. As our OOH service grows, we will be looking to add additional team members to help ensure that the workload remains manageable.
What You Will Bring to Our Team
We invite applications from Registered Veterinary Nurses who are confident working in sole charge role, who can demonstrate a clear understanding of working in an OOH/emergency setting. An interest in ECC/OOH is essential, and you should feel confident monitoring anaesthesia, assisting in surgical procedures, monitoring inpatients, triage and covering admit/discharge appointments.
