We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic small animal and exotics team!

The duties for this role will include admitting patients, assisting vets during surgery, administering anaesthesia, managing discharges, providing inpatient care, running nurse clinics, handling pharmacy duties, managing nurse messages, restocking, preparing kits, reception tasks, and, of course, delivering exceptional client care.

Our practice operates across two locations: Chorlton and Sale, with our Avian and Exotic referral clinic based at Chorlton. What are we looking for?
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to a wide variety of species. The ideal candidate will have:
A valid RVN qualification and registration with the RCVS Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both clients and team members A keen interest in working with small animals and exotics, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a compassionate approach A team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively
Working Hours
This is a full-time position designed to promote a great work-life balance, with 40 hours spread over four days. Weekends are required with 1 in 4/5. There is out-of-hours on-call work for 1 in 5 weekends and midweek nights, with an additional salary supplement paid monthly as part of your salary. This amount is included in the advertised salary, and nurses are called in to the practice as needed. If you're not called out, you still receive the supplement for that shift.
