Find your future

Due to a recent practice refurbishment, Heartland Vets have a position opening up for a new Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a permanent basis!

We offer a flexible approach to working hours as we know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance. Many of our staff members already take advantage of our flexi working approach. Although ideally, we would prefer a full-time veterinary nurse to fill the role, for the right candidate we would consider part time hours. The full-time rota for this position would be 40 hours per week Monday - Friday with no additional Saturday Mornings!

About Us

Heartland Veterinary Service operates two branches as a truly mixed animal practice nestled in Highland Perthshire, conveniently accessible from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Our well-equipped facilities include digital X-ray and ultrasound capabilities, alongside specialized tools like a Companion Therapy Laser, Stance Analyser, and PRP therapy kit. Our dedicated team comprises 6 veterinarians supported by 3 registered veterinary nurses, 1 student veterinary nurse, and a skilled Practice Manager.

Situated in Aberfeldy and Pitlochry, our locations offer not only access to the stunning Scottish Highlands but also local walking trails, nearby Munros, and abundant opportunities for outdoor water sports such as kayaking and paddleboarding. At Heartland Veterinary Service, we prioritize a supportive and inclusive work environment. We enjoy both social outings and collaborative work in practice, fostered by our friendly client base.
