About the role

 
We are looking for a Deputy Head Nurse to join our friendly team nursing team consisting of 7 members of staff in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

The ideal candidate would be an existing Deputy Head Nurse or an experienced RVN with at least 3 or more years experience.

This role will include clinical and administrative work, deputising in the absence of our Head RVN, managing all aspects of the nursing team, ensuring high standards of patient and client care, advocating excellent teamwork, ensuring the smooth running of our hospital, nurse consults, supporting the Head Nurse with Health & Safety and the Practice Standards Scheme, clinical coaching of SVNs, ensuring efficient running of our in-house laboratory.

Working hours


The position is 40 hours per week working a variation of shift patterns Monday to Friday, you will also be required to work on a Saturday morning, 8am - 1pm on a rota basis, approximately 1 in 4.
