Are you an RVN looking for the next step? Are you wanting to develop your leadership skills? Are you already a Head Nurse ready for a new challenge? Barrier Animal Care Clinic may be place for you.

 

We have a unique opportunity for a Head Nurse to join out award winning team. You will be the sole registered nurse at the practice and your day to day duties include running nurse consults, anaesthesia, supporting our practice manager and general support and development of the practice. You will see a varied SA caseload which includes some exotics. We encourage growth and development both individually and collectively within our team. We would welcome CPD requests to fund certificates and other additional learning and skill development.

 

Work life balance that flexes with you – No weekends of OOH

 
The full time position is typically 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am - 5:30pm and there are no weekends or OOH. We are happy to discuss part time hours and flexible working requests.

Our RCVS accredited practice

 
We are an RCVS accredited SA practice situated in SE London by the Thames with excellent transport links and green spaces nearby. We are fully equipped with a laboratory suite, sterile theatre, radiography along with a bright and airy reception area and 2 consulting rooms.
 

Our dedicated team

 
We are a small but very experienced team consisting of our Practice Manager, Veterinary Surgeon and Receptionist. Our team are an award winning (quite literally), friendly and passionate bunch, dedicated to delivering the best possible veterinary care and service to patients and clients. Barrier has participated in a number of local events, and actively support the local community. We also have the help and support of a visiting specialist orthopaedic surgeon, if needed.
