About Us
Rooted in the heart of Aberlour, Speyside Vets is deeply woven into the fabric of the farming community serving the farming hub for over 80 years. Our Aberlour site is a bustling hub for dedicated farm work and equine services, where we proudly serve pedigree and commercial herds alongside a network of smallholders — we are approximately 70% beef and 30% sheep.
We’re looking for a Clinical Director to lead and inspire our farm team. This is a hands-on leadership role with a rich surgical caseload and significant opportunity to influence preventative health strategy across some of the finest herds in Scotland.
The Role
Lead and manage a dynamic team of like-minded, proactive farm vetsBe the trusted clinical advisor to a variety of large-scale farmsPerform a high volume of farm animal surgeries including routine and emergency procedures such as C-sections in both cattle and sheepDrive herd and flock health planning, disease prevention, and productivityOversee and support work during peak calving/lambing season and at pedigree bull sales including fertility testing Contribute to and shape the future of the practice alongside a supportive area director and management teamProtected management time built into your schedule
