We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Clinical Director to join our established and dedicated team. You will be responsible for 4 sites, we're flexible on the site you're based at but travel across all sites would be required.

  • Kingsteignton Veterinary Practice
  • Powderham Vets - Torquay (due to reopen)
  • Powderham Vets - Newton Abbot (due to reopen)

  • As Clinical Director, you'll lead and support the development of the group's clinical service with the support of our Practice Director. In addition to this, you'll experience diverse cases, help lead our clinical team, operations, and have the opportunity to develop the Referral Service Offering and develop the Hospital In-patient service.

    We would welcome both full time and part time applicants. Typically, the full time position is over 4/5 days with a share of the weekend rota (1in6 Saturday mornings).     Our close-knit group of PSS accredited practices have been established over 30 years. We have 4 sites located in and around the Newton Abbot area, and one site in the ‘English Riviera’ town of Torquay, perfectly placed between stunning, wind-swept moors of Dartmoor and the gorgeous beaches of the South Devon coast. You’ll find us at the end of the M5 Motorway, with easy access to direct trains to Exeter, Bristol and London and Cornwall.
     
    South Devon Vet hospital provides 24hour in-patient care and have a range of state-of-the-art equipment including medical grade CT Scanner, Ultrasound suit, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray & comprehensive Orthopaedic, Endoscopic and Laparoscopic kit to support our service offering.

    We have a team of talented Vets, supported by a dedicated Nurse team, led by our Practice Managers & Practice Director. Our nurses (many of whom are certificate holders with special interests ) assist the vets in clinics to maximise patient care and client support opportunities, as well as running a comprehensive range of Nurse Clinics. We see a wide variety of clients and cases, our South Devon Veterinary Hospital and Referral Centre operates a Diplomat led Ophthalmology referral service amongst other referral disciplines.
