About the Role

This is a true leadership opportunity where you’ll balance clinical excellence with strategic direction. As Clinical Director, you’ll:

  • Guide and support a passionate veterinary team
  • Shape the future of the practice—clinically and operationally
  • Manage budgets, drive standards, and champion patient care
  • Enjoy a dynamic caseload including soft tissue surgery, small furries (rabbits, guinea pigs), and more
  • Work closely with our Practice Manager and Area Director to grow and develop the practice

  • We offer protected management time within your week, allowing you to focus on leadership alongside hands-on veterinary work. Your clinical days will include both consultations and surgery, and we’re open to supporting any niche clinical interests you’d like to develop.

    Why Join Miramar Vets?

Our tight-knit, experienced team includes 5 vets, 4 RVN’s and an SVN, 4 Client care team members and a supportive practice manager.

We’re proud to have certificate holders in soft tissue surgery and dentistry, and our well-equipped practice features of 3 consult rooms, dedicated dog and cat wards and waiting areas, a range of modern diagnostic and surgical equipment.
We also work closely with Cats Protection and are looking to expand our charitable partnerships, including future collaborations with the RSPCA.

    Working Pattern & Benefits

Our flexible approach to rota patterns truly enhances your work-life balance. We understand that everyone has personal commitments outside of their careers, and we aim to help you achieve the right balance. We can offer a 4/5 day working week, no OOH only 1:4 Saturday mornings (8:30AM-12:30pm, last consult at 11:30am).

Supportive management structure with an Area Director and Area Support Manager on hand for any operational queries and leadership development support.

    Location: Sheringham, North Norfolk

Sheringham is a gem on the Norfolk coast—boasting sandy beaches, cliff-top walks, a vibrant local scene, and access to the stunning Norfolk Coast AONB. It’s perfect for anyone seeking a healthy work-life balance surrounded by nature, wildlife, and a welcoming community.
