We are looking for a veterinary receptionist to join our dedicated team, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinary team to ensure the well-being and comfort of our patients.

In this exciting and varied role, you will ensure the well-being of pets and clients by handling reception duties such as answering client calls, managing appointment bookings, and overseeing the diary. You'll also keep the front of house tidy, assist with insurance claims, and provide essential support to the Vets and Nurses.

We are a well-established practice in the heart of Luton with great links to London, Bedford and London Luton Airport. We are a small animal-only practice, proudly serving nearly 3,000 local clients and their pets in Luton.

While we cherish our traditional values of excellent service and building strong relationships with our clients, we are committed to modernising through evidence-based medicine and advanced techniques. Our surgery is well-equipped with an in-house lab, digital x-ray, surgical theatre, and inpatient facilities.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, empathetic, and able to thrive under pressure, while also proactively contributing to the improvement of our administrative processes. They will ensure that both patients and clients receive a high-quality, efficient service that is always confidential, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous.

This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week. Working hours will be between 8:30am-7:30pm, Monday to Friday on a rota basis. There will also be a 1:4 Saturday morning rota.

The salary for this role is up to £17,900 DOE.
