We are looking for a friendly person to join our team as a veterinary receptionist in our busy, customer-focused veterinary practice in Ware, Hertfordshire.

How You’ll Make a Difference 

 
 
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience at every interaction. 
 
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications, and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey. 
 
This is a part-time fixed term role working 30 hours per week Monday to Friday. Rota pattern to be discussed. 
 
Duties include but are not limited to: 
 
  • Liaising with the clients and the clinical staff to provide 5-star customer care
    Meeting and greeting clients with professionalism
    Booking appointments and diary management
    Managing telephone and email enquiries
    Taking payment for services and products
    Managing cash and end of day banking
    Cleaning and preparing rooms for consultations
