We are looking for a new receptionist to join our team at Animal House Vets. You will be motivated and enthusiastic. You will be working as part of the team and solely working on occasions.
As a veterinary receptionist, your role involves warmly greeting clients and their pets upon arrival at the clinic, providing a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for their visit. You will answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and check in with patients while verifying and updating their information to ensure accuracy in the clinic's records. In addition to handling payments and maintaining financial records, you will help keep the reception area and exam rooms clean and organized. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. You should be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment, proficient in computer skills—including Microsoft Office Suite—and have experience in customer service and administrative tasks.

More about you


If you are passionate about animals, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience in customer service and administrative tasks, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Being able to work as part of a team or under your initiative is a must. A minimum of 4 GCSEs is required at a grade of 4/C or above. Your shift pattern


Our practices work from 8am - 6.30 pm and also a Saturday so the hours required will be 39.75 hours per week, working 4 days Monday - Friday 8 - 6.30pm as a set shift each week and then also working 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8.30 - 4pm. Your shifts could be at any of our 4 branches.
