Our Runnymede Hill Veterinary Hospital couldn't function without our dedicated receptionists. They are a vital component in providing care for our clients in a busy and emotional environment.
Duties:
Greet clients and patients with a warm and welcoming attitude.Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the practice’s diaryHandle client inquiries and provide information about our services, procedures, and policies.Process payments, manage billing, and handle basic financial transactions.Maintain accurate client and patient records using our practice management software.Assist with the preparation and filing of medical records and other documentation.Communicate effectively with veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow and coordination of patient care.Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies.Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Established for over 40 years, we have two sites, Runnymede Hill Veterinary Hospital in Egham, and our branch practice in Sunningdale. We have great links to the M25, M3, Heathrow Airport and the beautiful Windsor Great Park on our doorstep.. We love what we do, and we are very good at it. More about you
Previous receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus!Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations.An excellent communicator with strong empathy.Excellent customer service skills and experience dealing with the public.A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems.Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners.Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanour.Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Your working pattern
You have a unique opportunity to work a very flexible shift pattern 30/40 hours per week between 8:30 am – 7 pm. Or Monday – Friday 4 am – 4 pm. You will also have an inclusion in the Saturday rota every other week between 8:30 am – 2 pm.
Salary up to £41,000 DOE.
