Role: Veterinary Care Assistant
Location: Martin Vets, Kirkintilloch
Contract: Full-Time, permanent
Our recently refurbished practice is conveniently located within walking distance of Kirkintilloch town centre, with excellent bus and train connections from Glasgow city centre. Free on-site parking is available for staff.
The practice features modern, air-conditioned facilities including a spacious reception area, five consulting rooms, two theatres, a prep and recovery area, isolation facilities, digital x-ray, dental suite including dental x-ray, and a dedicated laboratory.
Situated on the scenic banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal, the marina location offers beautiful walking routes along the canal and former railway line—perfect for breaks or after work.

How you'll make a difference
As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the clinical team to deliver high standards of patient and client care, while helping to ensure the practice environment runs smoothly and safely.
Duties will include working closely with the in-patient nurse with in-patient care, assisting theatre nurses, laboratory duties, preparation of surgical packs/instruments and general infection control of all clinical areas.
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week.
