We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our expanding team as a Receptionist/ Farm Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls, managing orders and scheduling appointmentsManaging dairy-related administrative tasksPerforming lab work (following appropriate training), including processing blood samples and conducting faecal worm egg countsCleaning, preparing, and sterilizing surgical kitsGeneral office cleaning and maintenanceIndependently opening the office (after training) and managing administrative duties during periods when you will at times be the sole office team memberExecuting task lists provided by practice managementOther office duties as required

Fosse Way Farm Vets is an IVC farm-only practice that opened in November 2022. We formed as an established group of colleagues including five farm vets, two office staff, and two vet techs, who have worked together for many years, and since opening Fosse Way we have taken on new team members and rapidly become a highly reputable brand amongst the farming community. We are based in central Leicestershire and service dairy, beef and sheep farms throughout the county and surrounding areas.
More about you
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the livestock industry and feel confident communicating with farmers over the phone. Training will be provided where needed, and we are committed to supporting your development within the role.

Shift pattern
This is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
