We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Westmorland Vets on a part-time fixed-term basis for 3 months.

Westmorland Veterinary Group, once a mixed practice, is now a thriving two-site practice with dedicated farm and small animal teams. We pride ourselves on offering a friendly and supportive work environment, with a commitment to providing the highest level of patient and client care. Our team comprises a range of experience levels, from student nurses and new graduate vets to seasoned professionals with over 30 years in the field.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

 

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

 

Working Pattern

25hrs per week including some evenings and Saturday mornings. Flexibility may be required to cover holidays and sickness.

Key Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for clients in person and on the phone
Book appointments
Handle payments and maintain accurate records
Support the veterinary team with administrative tasks
Provide a warm, professional service to clients and their pets
