We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our fantastic team at Glenbrae Veterinary Clinic on a part-time basis. The role will involve working between our Bearsden and Dumbarton branches with duties included but not limited to; welcoming clients and their pets, answering customer queries, booking appointments, financial transactions, assisting with stock control and other administrative duties. 

You will be working 24 hours over 3 days per week.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the job and can fit in with the team. Someone who will go the extra mile to provide a professional and personal service to each client is vital for the role.  

The successful candidate will have previous customer service experience (preferably min 1 year), ideally within a veterinary settling although this is not essential. They will be confident, committed, and able to work well under pressure with exceptional organisational skills. A friendly manner and love for animals is also essential for this role, along with the ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own. 

Glenbrae has been established since 1990 and we are a busy 3-site practice with Tier 2 RCVS accreditation. We became part of the IVC Evidensia family in 2019 which has helped us by providing many opportunities for clinical excellence and development within our teams. Our mission is to provide outstanding conventional and holistic care from a local friendly and caring team. Our services include laparoscopy, dental radiography, ultrasonography including specialist input, endoscopy, digital radiography, laser therapy and acupuncture, stem cell therapy and a consultancy homeopathic service. 

We are a forward thinking, proactive team who care about our clients, patients, and each other. We actively promote a healthy mindset and wellbeing giving each other support both professionally and personally. Our clinics are situated in Bearsden, Dumbarton and Muirhead allowing us to serve a large area of clients. We are a team of 30, made up of 11 vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 9 CCA's and other admin support staff. We have a visiting homeopath consultant and visiting ultrasonographer. We are proud to support our local communities and provide support at local galas and charity events.
