We are looking for a dedicated Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Your professionalism and organizational skills will contribute to creating a positive experience for our clients. You may be required to travel between other branches to cover sickness or holiday.
Duties:
Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a courteous and professional mannerAnswer and direct phone calls promptly using proper phone etiquetteMaintain a tidy reception areaSchedule appointments and assist with medication orderingHandle client inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is advantageousStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectivelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretionDemonstrated ability in maintaining an organized workspace and managing time efficientlyFamiliarity with basic administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and record keepingStrong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performedAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
About the rota and salary
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week however flexibility in hours is available. The shifts will be x3 8:00am-7:00pm and x1 8:00am-2:00pm. Weekend cover will be required on a rota basis.
The salary for this role is up to £25,000 DOE.

Village Vets now employs over 30 staff. We are extremely proud of our nursing team, which is comprised of a large number of qualified nurses who take their own clinics, including weight clinics, diabetic clinics, puppy parties and healthy pet checks.
Our veterinary team is very diverse and includes vets with special interests in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, ultrasonography and behaviour. Our vets have excellent working relationships with local referral practices and regularly undertake further training courses to enhance their knowledge.
The Buckley practice is credited with hospital status and has state-of-the-art facilities, including three surgical suites, digital x-ray and endoscopy equipment and an ultrasound machine that is identical to that used in human hospitals. There are separate cat and dog kennels, isolation kennels for infectious patients and an in-house laboratory where blood and other samples can be processed the same day.
