Oban Vets are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Client Care team. In this dynamic and diverse role, you will:
Serve as the first point of contact for referring veterinarians, partner practices, and pet owners when scheduling appointments.Greet clients and their pets in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner.Work collaboratively within a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional client care.Accurately and securely maintain both electronic and physical medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and safeguarding sensitive information.Process payments, collect fees, and issue invoices or receipts for services provided.Keep track of office and reception supply levels, placing orders as necessary.Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure the reception area, waiting room, and common spaces are kept clean and organized.

What We’re Looking For:
Previous receptionist experience or a demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service.Experience in a veterinary or animal care environment is preferred.Strong customer service skills with a friendly, empathetic, and professional attitude.Comfort with office technology, computer software, and electronic medical record systems.Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, procedures, and common medications is a plus.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and professionally.
Your shift pattern
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday currently. Shifts are 8 am – 5 pm, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm and 9 am – 6 pm on a rota. 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
