We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Animal Nursing Assistant (Small Animal) to join our team at Donnington Grove on a full-time basis.

 

We are a busy equine referral hospital based in Newbury, West Berkshire and are looking to expand our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and dedicated person with a passion for horses and their welfare. The ideal applicant will have experience and confidence working with a range of horses, ideally to include racehorses, foals and competition horses.

 

This is a busy and rewarding role supporting our Small Animal Vets and Registered Veterinary Nurses across our three branches in Newbury, Tadley, and Thatcham. The ability to travel between sites is essential.
While full training will be provided, previous experience working within an animal care or veterinary environment would be a strong advantage. This role involves shift work, including  weekends and bank holiday work as part of a shared rota

This position would suit someone with a genuine passion for animal care, a strong work ethic, and a desire to develop within the veterinary field. It’s an ideal opportunity for anyone considering a future career as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
