The successful candidates will be required to assist in the day to day running of our practice. The majority of your shifts will be based at Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital in Stroud but some of your hours will take place at Clockhouse Vets in Nailsworth.
The role will include supporting the veterinary staff at busy times and to provide the highest level of care to our clients and their pets. Primary responsibilities will include greeting clients and their pets, booking appointments, handling telephone and email enquiries and taking payments. The ideal candidates will be confident in verbal and written communication with a professional, friendly and caring approach along with a positive "can do" attitude.
Our ideal candidate
This will be a fast-paced role so we are looking for candidates who can multitask, are team players and can maintain their sense of humour at busy times. The ability to multi-task is a pre-requisite, as is empathy with pet owners. Previous experience working in a veterinary receptionist environment would be advantageous, but not essential. Proficient IT skills are a requirement.

Shift pattern
The successful applicants will be required to work approx. 30 hours a week between 8:00am-8:00pm Monday-Friday, and part of a rolling weekend rota, covering Saturday hours of 8:00am - 2:00pm. Time in lieu is provided for these shifts.
