We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for a for a dedicated individual to join our team, of passionate professionals, as a Practice Manager. 

As Practice Manager, you’ll work closely with our Clinical Director, Head Receptionist, and Lead Nurse to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include overseeing practice standards, HR, payroll, financial planning, building maintenance, and managing projects. You’ll also collaborate with IVC Evidensia’s area support team, attending meetings with neighbouring practices to foster learning and development.

Clockhouse Vets is a thriving small animal practice dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care and ensuring a seamless client experience. We have a small but dedicated team of 5 vets, 5 nurses, 2 veterinary care assistants and 6 front of house staff. 

Located in the beautiful Cotswolds, Stroud offers stunning countryside views, great local amenities, and is near vibrant towns like Cheltenham and Bristol. It’s the perfect place for nature lovers, with plenty of walking trails and scenic areas to explore.

We’re seeking a candidate with some management experience, though we’ll provide training and guidance where needed. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment, be proactive in problem-solving, and enjoy working closely with a motivated team. Your role is key to creating a positive and efficient work environment for staff and clients alike. A full driving license is required, as the role involves travel between branches and to external meetings.

This full-time role includes 40 hours per week across 5 days, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. We are also open to considering a 4-day working week. Occasional Saturday mornings from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm may be required to support our reception team during absences or holiday cover.
