We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Midland Veterinary Surgery in Leyton, East London on a part time basis. 

 

Midland Vets is a long-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice based in Leyton, East London. Established in the 1970s, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality first opinion care within our local community.

 

Our practice is well-equipped with a laboratory suite, theatre, radiography, dental x-ray, and three consulting rooms, enabling us to provide a comprehensive service to our patients. Our friendly and dedicated team includes 6 Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, care assistants, a reception team, and a Practice Manager, all working collaboratively to deliver the highest standards of care.

    How You’ll Make a Difference

     

    As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

     

    You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

     

    Working Pattern

     
  • 24 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, shifts between 7.45am - 7:30pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 
  • No OOH or Sundays.
  • Open to flexibility requests.

  • Client care, being the first point of contact for them as part of the front of house team
  • Phone call handling including booking appointments
  • Admit duties
  • Overseeing the smooth running of the reception area
