Equine Practice Manager - Churchfield Veterinary Centre
Salary up to £35,000 pro rata DOE
Churchfield Veterinary Practice, part of inspiring vet care, is seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead the operational and commercial performance of our equine veterinary practice, working in partnership with the Clinical Director and supporting our clinical team.
This is a hands-on role that combines accountable leadership with practical involvement. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, supporting vets during busy periods, and maintaining high standards of patient and client care across both our clinic and ambulatory settings. How You’ll Make a Difference
As Practice Manager, you will lead the non-clinical operations of the practice, working closely with clinical leadership to ensure efficient day-to-day running, strong team performance, and an outstanding client experience.
You’ll be responsible for operational delivery, people management, and compliance, while supporting the practice to achieve its performance, quality, and service objectives. This role plays a key part in creating a positive culture and enabling clinical teams to deliver excellent care.
Rota Pattern
Working 40 hours per week across 5 days Monday to Friday
An involvement in a minimal out of hours support rota for inpatient cover may be required
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
You are an experienced people and operations manager with strong leadership capability and come from an equine background. You’ll bring:
Previous leadership or management experience within a veterinary, equine environment
Commercial awareness and financial management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead with empathy and professionalism
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
