We are looking for a dedicated Equine Receptionist to join our well-respected 7 Vet equine practice situated in the Essex countryside, close to London.
Duties will include:
Responding to and managing incoming telephone inquiriesScheduling and coordinating client appointmentsOverseeing and maintaining the appointment diaryProcessing client paymentsManaging patient admissions and onboardingPreparing cost estimates for client services and appointmentsHandling client correspondence and communicationsCoordinating and booking client referralsOrdering and dispensing medication for client collectionOrganizing logistical support for veterinary equipment for appointments and Brook FarmPreparing and issuing import certificatesManaging outgoing mail and placing stationery ordersUpdating and maintaining the Eclipse management system

The perfect fit
We are seeking a candidate with excellent customer service skills, who can demonstrate empathy and manage sensitive situations effectively. Experience in a customer-facing role, whether in person or over the phone, is an advantage. You should be passionate about supporting both people and animals, possess strong IT skills, and have the ability to record data with precision. Attention to detail and being a team player are key qualities. While knowledge of the veterinary industry is a plus, it is not required.
Your shift pattern
You will join the team on a part-time basis, working 6 hours per day, preferably Monday-Friday 9 am – 3 pm.
The salary for this role is up to £26,000 pro-rata.
