Here at Ashcroft, we are looking for a friendly and approachable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in Frodsham. The role will involve building client and patient relationships, providing a warm and welcoming experience, answering phones and booking appointments, responding to queries via phone, in person and email, registering new clients, completing insurance claims, dispensing medications and taking payments and managing client account.

Our ideal candidate


  • Previous receptionist experience is essential.
  • Veterinary experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong empathy.
  • Resilient with ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public.
  • Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Use in Microsoft office and other data base management and operation systems. 

  • About the rota and salary


    This is a permanent role working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. There will also be 1:4 Saturdays involved. We are happy to consider part time applications.

    The salary will be up to £20,820 DOE per annum.
