Taverham Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time receptionist to join our reception team in Aylsham. As well as being an outstanding receptionist, roles may also include being on the 'shop floor' focusing on delivering an excellent customer experience, making sure that we can offer the gold standard service that we always strived for.

Currently, we have 34 Veterinary Surgeons, 41 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 5 Student Veterinary Nurses, 9 Animal Nursing Assistants and 30+ Support staff. Many of our Vets and Nurses are certificate holders in multiple disciplines.

 

As part of our commitment to giving back, we support several charities. We are proud to run the Norwich division of StreetVet from Taverham Veterinary Hospital, headed up by our super vet Claire! StreetVet is a charity that provides essential veterinary care to the animals of those experiencing homelessness, for which many of our team volunteer. Our team regularly fundraise with quiz and chips nights, with the most recent event in January raising over £2,000!

 

We support Dogs Trust and regularly welcome their resident dogs to attend hydrotherapy sessions at our practice, and we take great satisfaction in knowing that we are making a positive difference in the lives of these animals.

 

We are looking for candidates with proven reception knowledge, who are computer literate and have experience with providing excellent client care and who enjoy working in a busy fast-moving environment.

The rota will be: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:15am - 6:15pm. You will also work every other Saturday morning from 8:30am-1:00pm and two Bank Holidays per year
