At Mansion Hill, we provide comprehensive pet care services. We are seeking a bright and bubbly Veterinary Receptionist to expand our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. You will be responsible for greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing general information about our services such as our Health Care Plan. You will be the first point of call for our clients, providing support and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting clients and their pets with a friendly and professional manner.Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar, including future appointments.Answering phone calls, emails, and other enquiries from clients.Collect and update client information in the database.Medication handling Admin including scanning and organising paperwork.Processing payments & debt management.Cleaning.

The practice is a single site small animal first opinion clinic, situated in Middleton Cheney just outside Banbury. We offer a wide range of veterinary services, from routine check-ups and nurse clinics to emergency care and complex surgeries. We believe in a modern approach to medicine and client service with an emphasis on the traditional veterinary values of integrity, clarity and trust. Currently, our team consists of 4 Veterinary Surgeons and with a strong nursing, admin and front-of-house support team.
What you'll bring to our team
Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for working with animals and their owners.Able to work well within a team and independently.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.Knowledge of basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)

A full time role involves working up to 40 hours per week including a Saturday rota. We can also consider a job share if there is sufficient interest from part time applicants. There may be potential for extra hours to cover holidays and sickness. This is a permanent position.
