The Part You’ll Play
At our veterinary clinic, we provide comprehensive pet care services. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. You will be responsible for greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing general information about our services such as our Health Care Plan. You will be the first point of call for our clients, providing support and compassion.
About you
We are looking for a dedicated, professional team member, who shows a real passion and positive attitude in every duty they perform. Candidates must have at least 1 year reception experience, and ideally at least 1 year of veterinary reception experience. The candidate needs to be highly self-motivated with good customer service skills.
Duties:
Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanourSchedule appointments and manage the appointment calendarAnswer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clientsCollect and update client information in the databaseMedication handlingAssist with filing and organising paperworkProcess payments for services rendered
Working pattern
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, including 1:3 Saturday mornings, with time given back in lieu. Shifts are 8.5 hours Mon-Fri, inclusive of a 30min break. Shift times are either 07:50-16:30, or 11:00-19:30.
