Part-time, 10 hours per week
Saturday day shifts based at our busy main hospital in Dunfermline
Answer telephone calls and respond to client emails
Welcome clients and check patients in for appointments
Process payments accurately
Complete general administrative duties, including scanning documents and creating invoices
Work collaboratively with the wider Client Care and clinical teams to deliver an excellent client experience
Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner
Experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on service and attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment
A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues
A proactive attitude, with openness to feedback and learning
A key client-facing role within a supportive and collaborative practice team

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Inglis Vets on a part-time permanent basis.
We are a Veterinary Group with branch surgeries across Fife, Kinross and Edinburgh, with our main hospital based in Dunfermline, Fife.
We have a great team and are committed to providing the highest level of veterinary care and customer service to our clients and their pets.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
