We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Spring Lodge, Witham on a part-time fixed-term basis.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

 

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

 

Working Pattern

Working 31 hours a week, across all of our branches, being flexible with hours, be able to work a saturday, mixture of shifts ranging from 7:45/8am-7/7:15pm, possibly working all day too.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting clients in a professional, friendly and courteous manner
Answering phone calls promptly and handling enquiries efficiently
Booking, cancelling and managing appointments
Taking cash and card payments
Processing insurance claims and instalment enquiries
Handling cash reconciliation and end-of-day banking procedures
Dispensing medications and prescriptions
Maintaining accurate client and patient records
Managing and responding to clinic emails
Completing daily administrative paperwork (lab reports, consent forms, vaccination documents, etc.)
Ensuring reception areas, client information and retail products are well stocked and presentable
Liaising with charities regarding collection boxes
Attending reception team meetings when required
