We are looking for a fantastic Veterinary Care Assistant to join out team at Downland Vets, working across our 3 East Sussex surgeries (Hailsham, Eastbourne & Stone Cross). This is a fixed-term position for approximately 12 months. The customer-facing role will include client care responsibilities, administration tasks, animal care duties and delivering a high standard of customer service.

 

Join our dedicated team of veterinary professionals, comprising 12 nursing staff, 6 vets, and 10 support staff across East Sussex. We take pride in our commitment to continuous learning and development, including veterinary certificate holders in ECC and geratric medicine, and a whole effort in ongoing training. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled colleagues and contribute to our culture of excellence and compassion.

 

 

 

You will work 40.6 hours per week across Monday – Friday, plus 1:8 Saturday mornings. You will cover a variety of shift patterns starting at 8:30 am and finishing between 4 pm – 7 pm.
