An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at White Cliffs Vets, situated in the lovely village of Whitfield, just outside Dover in Kent, with easy access to mainland Europe, high-speed rail links to London and only twenty minutes from the beautiful, historic city of Canterbury.
This is a busy and demanding role in which you will be required to welcome our clients and their pets to the surgery, deal with enquiries both on the telephone and face to face, take payments, use and update our electronic diary system, handle medication and carry out varied admin tasks.

The successful candidate will ideally need to have experience within the veterinary profession or a similar customer care role. They should have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, computer literacy, and the ability to cope well under pressure.
Your shift pattern
Our full-time position is for an average of 39 hours per week on a four-week rota. Hours are either 8 am – 6 pm or 8:20 am – 6:20 pm four days per week with one Saturday morning in 4.
We also require flexibility for holiday & sickness cover.
