Answering phone calls, managing orders and scheduling appointmentsGeneral office cleaning and maintenanceIndependently opening the office (after training) and managing administrative duties during periods when you will at times be the sole office team memberExecuting task lists provided by practice managementOther office duties as required

Fosse Way Farm Vets is an IVC farm-only practice that opened in November 2022. We formed as an established group of colleagues including five farm vets, two office staff, and two vet techs, who have worked together for many years, and since opening Fosse Way we have taken on new team members and rapidly become a highly reputable brand amongst the farming community. We are based in central Leicestershire and service dairy, beef and sheep farms throughout the county and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar working environment, be computer literate and possess some farm animal awareness.
Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with clients and colleaguesAbility to manage multiple tasks efficientlyKeen attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibilityA positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Shift pattern
This is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with flexibility to cover afternoons and weekends when required.
