We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Delaware Vets on a full-time basis.

You will be joining a busy practice team, focused on providing a high level of patient and client care whilst exercising a strong ethos for maintaining a healthy work/life balance and supporting each other's wellbeing. 

How You’ll Make a Difference

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual with a passion and ability to provide outstanding client service.  An understanding of the farming and dairy industry would be beneficial and when matched with a desire to provide support to our clients as well as our vets, it will allow you to organise and coordinate visits for our team of 7 large animal vets and 7 techs to ensure that veterinary care is delivered in a timely and practical manner 

Working Pattern

  • 39.75 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
  • 2:4 Saturday mornings 8.30am - 1.00pm
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Handle farmer enquiries, schedule veterinary visits, manage diaries, and coordinate communication with vets and clients
  • Process orders, dispense authorised medications, take payments, raise invoices, and manage direct debits 
  • Coordinate TB testing, maintain records, support audits, and arrange laboratory samples and courier collections
  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets, databases, digital systems, shared inboxes, and export documentation 
  • Support daily practice administration, including student inductions, team meetings, and maintaining an organised office.
