We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our fantastic team as a receptionist. Day-to-day duties include greeting and booking in clients, taking payments, answering phones to book appointments and answering queries and some administration work.

We are a first opinion practice and are well equipped with an on-site laboratory, digital x-ray machine and state-of-the-art operating theatre and are able to provide the majority of diagnostic investigations and surgical procedures for our clients pets. The successful person will join our fantastic team of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 RVNs and 2 SVNs with 5 client care staff.
The ideal fit
The ideal candidate will have previous reception experience and confidence in dealing with various client interactions. Great communication and organisational skills are a must. Previous veterinary experience is an advantage but not essential.
Your shift pattern
We are looking to hire a 20-hour/week receptionist. There may be potential for increased hours in the future. Shift pattern is variable on a 5-week rolling rota, there is some flexibility on shift patterns/hours with some 8 am starts and some 7 pm finishes. Our reception team have a 1 in 5-weekend rota of Saturday 8.30 am - 12.30 pm. No out-of-hours.
The salary for this role is up to £11,897.60.
