We are looking for an Environmental Sustainability Manager to join us in our mission and lead the development and implementation of our decarbonisation and environmental strategy across our global Group.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape our sustainability strategy, focusing on greenhouse gas emissions, waste management, and supply chain sustainability. You will also support the Group Sustainability and ESG Director in areas like best practice disclosure, benchmarking, and colleague engagement.
Day to day, the Environmental Sustainability Manager will be involved in:
Leading the Planet pillar within IVC Evidensia’s sustainability strategy.
Reviewing systems for compliance with environmental legislation.
Assessing environmental risk across the group.
Implementing IVC Evidensia’s decarbonisation strategy
Leading environmental sustainability disclosures (SECR, TCFD, TNFD, CSRD).
Supporting country teams with environmental issues management and knowledge building.
Key focus areas:
Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Strategy implementation and development, data analysis, strategy awareness, and SBTi tracking and relationship management.
Waste: Data management, reduction, and recycling opportunities.
Supply Chain: Data evaluation, supplier engagement, ESG due diligence, and collaborative initiatives.
Biodiversity: Impact analysis and strategy development
Ideally, the Environmental Sustainability Manager will have:
Experience of development and implementation of decarbonisation strategy for a large company.
Knowledge of environmental regulations across IVC Evidensia’s operational regions.
Experience in environmental risk assessment, implementation of sustainability programmes, and impact measurement.
Technical environmental qualifications (BSc/MSc or industry-recognised certifications).
Experience in large, global organisations with complex supply chains.
Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. TCFD, SECR, CSRD).
Ability to communicate complex environmental issues to business stakeholders.
Strong project management, communication, and organisational skills.
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Fluent English and the right to work in the UK/Europe.
