As a GBS Record to Report & Finance Lead your primary responsibilities are to oversee the full spectrum of RTR activities outsourced to Genpact from a performance (KPI’s), efficiency and accuracy perspective. In addition to this you will lead and mentor our five GBS Regional Accounting Leads and our RTR Global Process Owner.

In this role you will also, and in collaboration with our outsource providers Genpact, review and report on GBS operational costs ensuring that we are driving cost awareness and budget alignment to our GBS Management team.
You will also partner with our Genpact RTR management team, country and regional CFO network in ensuring our month end execution & reporting in addition to approving controllership reports prepared by our RTR function prior to being distributed to Group Finance and our regional stakeholders.

You will also be working closely with our outsource provider Genpact in driving a culture of continuous process improvement and leverage technology and automation tools to optimise process, workflows and to reduce manual/transactional activities.

This role is a key leadership role within GBS and ensures that we align to our group finance regional structure and ensures consistent and efficient balance sheet management and will ensure that our month end close process is accurate and done in compliance with IFRS and GAAP statutory requirements. In this role you will help shape the evolution of our global RTR function at this critical time for IVC Evidensia.

IVC Evidensia are going through an exciting period of significant change, and you will need to embrace and drive that change. You will help in leading and supporting the design, delivery and transformation of our organization’s global payroll processes and systems. Your primary focus will be creating, developing and executing a global payroll strategy, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, and driving process improvements. You will lead a team of payroll professionals, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and provide strategic direction to optimize global payroll operations The ability to support the integration of new acquisitions onto our global platforms is also important.
This role requires a combination of strong project management skills, leadership skills, extensive knowledge of global payroll practices, procedures and technology, the ability to navigate complex payroll processes and procedures, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a rapidly evolving organisation.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee all RTR operational activities from a performance (KPI’s), efficiency and accuracy perspective ensuring accurate and timely management of GBS RTR activities for multiple countries and regions.
  • Develop and implement a global strategy for GBS RTR processes with the support of the RTR Global Process Owner network
  • Lead and mentor our GBS Regional Accounting Leads to ensure all RTR activities being performed on our behalf are in compliance with accounting policies, controls and standards across all countries within the GBS scope
  • Maintain accurate reporting for all GBS costs with the support of our Contracts Manager and report same to GBS Management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with regional & country CFO’s, Group Finance and Genpact management to ensure seamless balance sheet reporting delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with global group policies, regulations and reporting requirements in each country within your region
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of balance sheet reporting.
  • Stay updated with finance IRFS/GAAP legislation, industry trends, and emerging technologies in global accounting management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team management, including GPO, finance, legal, and IT, to streamline month end close processes and data integration.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess month end reporting performance and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Manage relationships with external & internal auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders for audits and compliance checks in collaboration with our GBS Statutory Accounting & Audit Lead
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations on balance sheet management related matters.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and participate in professional networks or associations to foster knowledge exchange.

  • Experience/Qualifications:

  • Batchelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with preferrable 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role in a global finance environment
  • Preferably experienced in dealing with and managing outsourced accounting operations with service providers
  • Proven track record of effective leadership and a strong behavioural profile in a complex payroll function, including working with payroll suppliers and leading change.
  • Extensive knowledge across the full RTR process, including but not limited to month end close, tax, treasury, commercial finance and group reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of global finance reporting, regulations and compliance requirements across multiple countries and regions.
  • Extensive experience in managing relationships within a finance reporting environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive process improvements and optimize payroll operations.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess payroll data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements in handling financial information.
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel & PowerBi, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with changes in global finance regulations and best practices.
