About the role


As Senior Customer Analyst you will support the digital and marketing teams with the tracking of Customer behaviour and marketing performance. Building out a set of customers centric KPIs, to measure and understand IVCE customer and their pets and how they interact and use our services.

You will translate these finding using visualisation to bring our customer stories and strategies to life. Our team aims to sustainably and efficiently drive commercial growth through new customer acquisition and driving existing customer engagement across a variety a markets and you will support them with getting the best results through tests, optimisations and finding efficiencies.

Key Accountabilities


Own the customer metrics across the group function ensuring that at all times our core sales and lifetime value KPIs are visible, tracked and at the core of our paid activity and decision making
Develop compelling reporting on the output of GA4 (Google Analytics) and other digital data measurement tools as well as our datawarehouse to drive key strategic decisions regarding e-commerce and digital marketing – what can these tools tell us about our customer base?
Analyse complex datasets and cohesively and easily distil the insights and stories the data is telling you, sometimes answering multi-layered questions, sometimes your inquisitive nature finds answers to questions the business hasn’t even thought about yet
Prepare and present data visually for meetings and presentations.
Take responsibility for the business’s digital data assets such as marketing/customer databases, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
Analyse and report on digital customer data and support managers with business cases, creating strategies and bringing stories to life
Assist in the identification and maintenance of KPIs to drive increased commercial growth and efficiency
Keep an eye on industry trends, identifying challenges and find opportunities to optimise our activity

what do we look for in a Senior Customer Analyst?


Strong analytics background with the ability to analyse complex datasets easily using R, Python or SQL
Advanced data visualisation and data storytelling ability
Demonstrates strong SQL skills ideally in BigQuery and SSMS to find answers to ad-hoc and often complex questions
Has a proficiency in dashboarding and reporting tools ideally PowerBI
Has experience working with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, with a preference for GA4
Pro-active self-starter with a passion for sharing knowledge in a collaborative environment
Possesses exceptional organisational skills, multi-tasking ability and attention to detail
Excellent communications skills both written and verbally
Has proven adaptability to fast-changing priorities and is able to meet deadlines
