About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, global Privacy and Data Protection team at an exciting point in its evolution. We are expanding from a UK‑focused privacy model to a more collaborative, international function and this role plays a key part in that journey.
We’re looking for a highly organised, detail‑driven Data Privacy Manager with prior data protection experience who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, process‑led environment. You’ll support day‑to‑day privacy operations, handle complex data protection requests.
This role suits someone early in their data privacy career who is keen to learn, grow, and gain exposure to global privacy work while making a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
Monitoring and triaging data protection queries across the business
Managing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) end‑to‑end, including applying exemptions and redactions under UK/EU GDPR
Responding to privacy incidents and issues, following defined processes and maintaining accurate records
Conducting data searches and coordinating responses with internal stakeholders
Maintaining documentation, logs, and records within established privacy frameworks
Carrying out basic risk assessments and root‑cause analysis.
Providing practical, clear privacy guidance to teams across multiple jurisdictions.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Around 2–3 years’ experience in data privacy, data protection, or a related field.
Proven experience handling DSARs under UK and/or EU GDPR.
Strong understanding of GDPR and data protection legislation
Excellent attention to detail and written accuracy
Clear, confident communication skills and a personable working style
Ability to manage competing priorities in a changing, fast‑paced environment.
Desirable
Data protection qualification or certification (e.g. IAPP)
Experience using privacy management tools such as OneTrust or similar platforms
Experience with eDiscovery or data search tools
Background in an in‑house or corporate environment.
