As a GBS Data, Reporting and Analytics Lead (DRnA) your primary responsible for the data and analytics capabilities within GBS, driving customized, user-friendly advanced analytics, incl. maintenance and continuous updates. Furthermore, the DRnA Lead is accountable for the data landscape and its quality standards across GBS functional groups. Key relationship manager with existing IVC Evidensia and Genpact IT groups.

In this role you will also, and in collaboration with our outsource providers Genpact, review and report on GBS operational data ensuring that we are driving data transparency and accuracy to our GBS Management team.
You will partner with our Genpact reporting team, GBS Global Process Owners, GBS Business Partners and operational tower leads in ensuring our data is accurate, prepared and analysed in a timely manner.

In addition, you will also be working closely with our outsource provider Genpact and our GBS Global Process Owners in driving a culture of continuous process improvement and leverage technology and automation tools to optimise data reporting and analytical insights to support the business in making strategic operational decisions.

IVC Evidensia are going through an exciting period of significant change, and you will need to embrace and drive that change. You will help in leading and supporting the design, delivery and transformation of our organization’s GBS data landscape, data tools and resources. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical and analytical skills to contribute to the organisation’s data-driven decision-making process. You will be responsible for managing and resolving challenges to GBS reporting, and extracting, transforming, and analysing data from IVC Evidensia databases to create insightful reports and dashboards. 

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: 

  • Retrieve data from multiple internal and external sources, ensuring data quality by cleaning, validating, and transforming it into a usable format. 
  • Utilize statistical methods and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within data sets. 
  • Design and develop regular and ad-hoc reports using data visualization techniques to present key metrics and insights in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Build interactive dashboards using Business Intelligence (BI) tools to enable real-time monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs). 
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with regional & country CFO’s, Group Finance and Genpact management to ensure seamless balance sheet reporting delivery.
  • Develop data models to facilitate analysis and reporting, including dimensional modelling techniques. 
  • Adhere to data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team management, including GPO, finance, legal, and IT, to streamline GBS data integration.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess month end reporting performance and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Manage relationships with external & internal stakeholders e.g. Group IT, Genpact, GBS Global Process Owners, etc.
  • Understanding of business operations and key performance metrics relevant to the industry 
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and participate in professional networks or associations to foster knowledge exchange.

  • Experience/Qualifications:

  • Batchelors degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with preferrable 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role in a global finance environment
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP or other ERP systems. 
  • Strong SQL skills (Oracle SQL and/or PL/SQL) for data manipulation and querying. 
  • Proficiency in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), BI Publisher, and potentially Financial Reporting Studio (FRS). Familiarity with modules like financials, procurement, and human resources
  • Extensive experience in managing relationships within a finance reporting environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities in addition to having strong analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements in handling financial information.
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel & PowerBi, for data analysis and reporting
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with changes in global finance regulations and best practices.
