As Accounts Assistant, working closely with our Finance Business Partner, and the wider Irish team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial and management reporting, analysis and insight to enhance decision making and support the smooth running of the finance operations for Ireland.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: 

  • Provide weekly trade reporting, KPIs, Debtor and cost reporting
  • Update daily sales reporting
  • Assist in preparation of weekly sales deck
  • Assist month close by challenging and monitoring the accuracy of the cost data, working with the Management Accountants and Accounts Payable teams to rectify any issues.
  • Supporting the Operations team with ad hoc reporting and insights.
  • Assisting the Business Partner & Area Directors in preparing Business Cases, particularly in relation to specific insights and data.
  • Creation of reports from data sets in Excel or Power BI to answer questions posed by team
  • Assist the finance business partner in reporting for in creating and monitoring business cases and monitoring their performance against plan.
  • Assist in budgeting and reforecasting
  • Assist in resolving invoicing and other accounting queries as required
  • Assist in resolving balance sheet issues
  • Project & other adhoc work as required by the business.

  • Experience/Qualifications:

    Essential:
  • Part Qualified accountant or qualified by experience in similar role
  • Experience of working in a finance role 
  • Advanced Excel skills 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence others to achieved desired outcomes 
  • Self-starter, able to work to deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Desirable:
  • Experience in an entrepreneurial environment, where decisions can be made quickly, processes can be immature, and a hands-on approach that helps everyone to succeed. 
  • Familiar with Oracle, Open Accounts and Power BI
