About the role
The Heath and Safety Support Coordinator will support the H&S team, Property Team, Operations and Practices with their Health and Safety requirements and will report in to the Health and Safety Manager UK&I
What will you do?
You'll support the H&S Manager to ensure the Health & Safety Management System is suitable and sufficient and kept up to date. This includes policies, procedures, and ensuring that health and safety rules and regulations are communicated and adhered to ensure a safe workplace environment
You'll review DSE assessments as required
Support the H&S Manager to ensure there are adequately trained personnel throughout the group
You'll assist with the implementation of the Health and Safety Management System and health and safety queries in practices throughout the UK
You'll ensure the accident reporting system is monitored and provide reports if required and complete health and safety audits at practices
Investigate health and safety incidents or concerns as directed by the Operations Team and providing the practices in question with support
Assist practices with queries regarding the internal online health and safety training and provide reports when required
Liaise with external health & safety consultants in the provision of training programmes and health and safety services where required
Reviewing H&S Audits undertaken and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken, supporting where necessary
Monitor and record of all health and safety training undertaken within the group
Support Health and Safety Management, Operations Team and Practice Health and Safety Representatives in practice as required
Liaise with the Operations Team and colleagues at the Support Operation Centre when required
About you
We're looking for someone who has some previous experience assisting with Health and Safety requirements, has excellent attention to detail, able to manage a shared mailbox, has excellent communication skills whether written or verbally
