Group Veterinary Advisor - Remote - based in Ireland
Significant travel is expected including the need for occasional overnight stays away from home.

The Group Veterinary Advisor will report to the Country Medical Director (CMD), and provide clinical and operational support to group practices in order to promote profitability, resolve problems and encourage performance. You'll Improve levels of patient and client service and experience. and improve clinical standards.
Depending on the needs of the business, you'll work closely with the teams in sites which have been identified as a concern wherever they are in the group.
What you'll do
Key Objectives:
Work closely with the Country Medical Director, Operating and People Director, and Area Directors to achieve group objectives
Work with Human Resources, Marketing, Procurement, Acquisition teams and other support functions to achieve the successful management of the business
Improve the profitability and productivity of sites, particularly as regards to pricing, charging and appropriate working up of cases
Support and intervene at site level as directed
Work with Practice Leadership and Area Directors as required and where necessary give them guidance, direction, advice or support on the management of their practices
Analyse and understand the performance of designated sites, identifying opportunities for improvement
Develop and implement plans to improve performance at practice level
Advise on clinical matters as required
Advise on professional regulatory matters as required
Undertake a wide variety of tasks related to the performance of sites as required
To support the Area Directors in the interviewing and appointment of Clinical Director’s and Practice Director’s if required.
Key Tasks (but not limited to)
Project support - Undertake and take accountability for projects / initiatives as required
Price reviews - Working collaboratively with the Practice Leadership, look for opportunities to improve pricing at practice level.
Provide clinical input as required - Review clinical working practices in designated sites.
Supporting Clinics - Analyse and understand issues at designated sites, working constructively with Area Directors local management and other members of the team.
Understand performance of designated sites, identify solutions, advise Practice Leadership of any necessary changes, implement solutions as required.
Clinical quality - Participate in or lead group Clinical Quality projects as required.
Advise Ireland Leadership Team on matters of compliance as required
Provide clinical input as required - Review clinical working practices in designated sites and where required provide clinical advice
Support the development of training and CPD within the group
Integration of new sites - As directed by the relevant lead, provide help with the integration of new sites following acquisition.
