Transformation Analyst, Rebates - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We generate significant revenue from volume-based rebates and strategic discounts negotiated with suppliers and manufacturers of products that we use and sell within our clinics. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate Transformation Analyst, Rebates to join our team.
As the Transformation Analyst, you will partner with the Transformation Lead to play a critical role in optimising our end-to-end rebate management process. You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, implementing efficiencies, and mitigating risks to enhance our income generation.
This role is being offered on a 12-month contract basis.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Partner with the rebate transformation lead in execution of identified rebate improvement opportunities and the identification of new opportunities.
Support the transformation lead in driving change within the organisation, ensuring that a routine of reporting and review is established across all areas involved in rebates management.
Master data clean up exercise, either in house or in partnership with a third party.
Track the implementation of refined contract terms with partners and specific review/course correction if required in provision of data from third parties.
Track internal process adoption and support the transformation lead in identifying areas where SOP’s/SLA’s/RACI’s are missing/ambiguous/not being followed, ensuring that steps are identified and taken to course correct if required.
Build dashboards and broader analytical capability in service of the above requirements to systematically track progress against key areas identified for improvement.
KPI’s for this role –
Rebate collection timeliness:
o Rebate aging, across all markets
o Rebate Days, again across all markets considering actuals, targets and ‘best possible’
o Rebates ‘billed’ on time
o Rebates recovered on time
Issue resolution timeliness
Balance sheet quality, as determined by minimisation of post-period adjustments, write-offs, etc
Experience/Qualifications:
Highly proficient in the use of the core Microsoft productivity suite (Excel and Powerpoint in particular).
Familiarity with PowerBI, PowerQueries and SQL alongside some experience in use of SaaS tools for analytics and workflow management would be beneficial.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to interrogate large data sets and produce succinct, impactful analysis from these data sets.
A preference for experience in the management of supplier rebate recovery, ideally from a retail, CPG or similar background.
Knowledge and experience of rebate recovery/vendor management, Accounts Payable and Credit Control processes would be beneficial.
Experience in an entrepreneurial environment, where decisions can be made quickly, processes can be immature and a hands-on approach helps everyone to succeed.
Self starter, able to define, design and deploy cross-functional initiatives and changes.
Results oriented, committed to hands on delivery.
